Armenia wins EU tariff relief after Russian trade restrictions
( October 9, 2026, 10:35 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Almost 80 percent of Armenian exports to the EU will benefit from temporary trade preferences from Saturday, under measures aimed at supporting producers affected by Russian trade restrictions, the European Commission said today. The preferences will apply for two years and cover almost all fresh fruit, vegetable and flower exports affected by Russia’s measures, as well as more than 91 percent of beverage and spirits exports.
