Japan's Adventure reports data breach affecting 14.6m customer records

( October 9, 2026, 08:56 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Adventure, a Japanese online travel-booking platform operator, said on Friday that unauthorized access affecting its skyticket online travel-booking platform resulted in the leak or potential leak of about 14.64 million customer records, including names, dates of birth, contact details and approximately 4.13 million records containing hashed login passwords. The publicly listed company said no passport numbers were leaked in the incident affecting 14.64 million records and that it had reported the incidents to Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission, blocked unauthorized access routes and suspended payments using stored credit cards as a precaution.Statement is attached (in Japanese)....
