Germany's Deutz fined $1.2m after decade-long Danish antitrust fight

( October 8, 2026, 12:49 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: German engine maker Deutz has been fined 8 million Danish krone ($1.2 million) by a Copenhagen court for abuse of market power, the Denmark's competition regulator said on Thursday. Deutz blocked imports of spare parts for train repairs, leading to delays. The Supreme Court found Deutz guilty in 2024 after a decade-long appeals procedure. Danish distributor Diesel Motor Nordic settled out of court for 1 million krone earlier this year.Statement follows (in Danish)....
