China rejects Dutch report's hacking allegations as unfounded

( October 8, 2026, 09:18 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China rejected a Dutch government security report’s allegations about Chinese hackers as unfounded, with its embassy in the Netherlands expressing strong dissatisfaction and opposition to the report. The embassy said China is among the main victims of cyberattacks and is committed to preventing and combating malicious cyber activity in accordance with the law. It urged Dutch authorities to stop making baseless accusations and called for international cooperation and dialogue on cybersecurity based on mutual respect and equality.
