California multiple listing service says Compass can't avoid cooperation rules

( October 5, 2026, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: California Regional Multiple Listing Service asked a US federal court to rule that its cooperation rules do not violate antitrust law, despite what Compass may say. CRMLS said Compass is seeking to dismantle the rules so that it can "free-ride on the comprehensive listing contributions of thousands of cooperating brokerages while hoarding its own inventory for its exclusive financial benefit."See attached file....
