( October 5, 2026, 09:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Dutch publishers of educational tools should stop packaging digital and physical materials and increase market transparency, the Autoriteit Consument & Markt said on Monday. Over the past seven years, prices have risen faster than those of publishers in other markets, despite not sufficiently meeting schools’ needs, the ACM said. Schools’ unwillingness to switch publishers has also driven down competition. Educators and publishers have until Oct. 30 to provide feedback on the authority’s investigation and recommendations.Press releases follow, report attached (both in Dutch)....
