The guidelines are intended to address risks such as biased decision-making and privacy violations, and to create an administrative environment the public can have confidence in. The guidelines set out 68 detailed checkpoints centered on six core values: public interest, equity, transparency, accountability, safety and privacy. They also require clear identification of responsible parties throughout the lifecycle of AI services, from planning to delivery, oversight mechanisms that allow people to review and intervene in AI judgments and decisions, and systems for post-deployment management and remedies for harm.The statement is attached (in Korean)....
