AI companies commit to UK changes on transparency, information rights, ICO says

The ICO is also making inquiries to Meta and OpenAI over unintended model behavior, executive William Malcolm told an audience. He said the UK privacy watchdog would open a call for evidence on agentic AI this month, and hopes to consult early next year on its upcoming statutory code on AI and automated decision-making.The UK data protection regulator has said leading AI developers are changing or committing to change their products in Britain, to ensure they're transparently informing where training data comes from and publicizing more clearly how users can exercise information rights....
