The agreement implements a bilateral trade deal and a strategic investment memorandum reached last year. Under the agreement, South Korea plans to invest in a natural gas-fired power plant in Texas, eight large nuclear power plants in various regions and a liquefied natural gas pipeline project in Alaska.
