In a statement released Monday, the regulator said the company, the sole urban pipeline gas supplier in Zhangjiachuan county, had forced residential customers to buy specified stainless-steel corrugated gas hoses without justification from April 2023 to September 2024. The penalties include the confiscation of 113,138.07 yuan in illegal gains and a fine of 134,559.75 yuan, equivalent to 2 percent of the company’s 2023 sales.Statement follows.
