Communications and Digital Minister Meutya Hafid discussed the investment with Microsoft Global Affairs President Lisa Monaco in New York on Wednesday, saying it should support technology and knowledge transfers, digital skills and domestic industry capabilities. Indonesia is also preparing a presidential regulation covering a national AI roadmap and AI ethics, which the government says is intended to provide regulatory certainty while supporting safe and responsible AI development.
