Gas use to fall by nearly 7 billion cubic meters in Germany by 2030, report says

The reductions would result from measures under its 2026 Climate Action Programme, according to a new roadmap on its transition away from fossil fuels published Wednesday. The measures include plans to tender an additional 12 GW of wind capacity and support the purchase of around 800,000 electric vehicles.
