China publishes penalties in unimplemented Jiangsu concrete price-fixing case

( September 23, 2026, 04:42 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China’s State Administration for Market Regulation has disclosed the full penalties imposed in February by its Jiangsu provincial arm on a local ready-mix concrete industry association and 17 suppliers over an unimplemented 2019 price-fixing agreement. In a statement Tuesday, the regulator said it opened its investigation in June 2019 after the association circulated a plan to raise prices that all 17 suppliers endorsed. Each party was fined 50,000 yuan ($7,463), for a combined 900,000 yuan.Statement follows. Penalty decision notices are attached (in Chinese)....
