Paramount, Warner forge US settlement agreement move to dismiss case against merger

Discovery, Writers Guild of America West and Writers Guild of America East, have entered into a settlement agreement to resolve the WGA's claims, according to a court filing. The stipulation and proposed order says that the earlier no-close order is to be dissolved and a bond hearing previously scheduled for Sept. 24 should be cancelled and vacated.
