Those new requests are a follow-up to a decision by the Portuguese constitutional court, which led to a ruling on a similar case in July confirming that business emails can be seized under some conditions without the prior order of a judge.Judges at the EU’s highest court are set to look once again at Portuguese disputes over the conditions for a competition authority to seize work emails. In the spring, the Portuguese Court of Competition, Regulation, and Supervision sent a dozen requests for legal guidance to the Court of Justice, MLex has learned....
