China's SAMR deepens antitrust cooperation with France, Pakistan, Russia

( September 8, 2026, 03:51 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China’s State Administration for Market Regulation met with competition officials from France, Pakistan and Russia to discuss antitrust enforcement priorities, competition issues in emerging sectors and closer cooperation, the regulator said in a statement Tuesday. SAMR Vice Minister Shu Wei met separately with French Competition Authority President Benoît Cœuré, Competition Commission of Pakistan Chair Fareed Ahmad Tarar and Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service Deputy Head Ruslan Dzhalyukov during China’s 2026 National Fair Competition Conference in Xi’an City on Monday and Tuesday.
