Jiangsu Governor Liu Xiaotao met with representatives from automakers, parts suppliers and autonomous-driving companies on Friday to discuss strengthening the province’s automotive industry, state media Xinhua reported. Provincial authorities said they would support new sales models, expand charging, battery-swapping and testing infrastructure, strengthen cross-border logistics, trade finance and compliance-risk services and encourage research into key technologies.
