Woolworths' bid for supermarket site in Australia's New South Wales reviewed

In a statement on Friday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said the site’s vendors were private individuals whose names had not been publicly disclosed. The statement said Woolworths, via its subsidiary, Fabcot, proposes to acquire a freehold interest in the Orchard Hills region of New South Wales, where it plans to construct a new neighborhood center, which would include a Woolworths supermarket, anticipated to open in July 2033.
