EU grid operators urge flexibility in ‘Made in Europe’ rules

In a position paper, industry association E.DSO called for the proposed Industrial Accelerator Act’s “Made in Europe” provisions to focus on value created across supply chains, rather than on fixed origin thresholds. E.DSO also urged continued access to trusted non-EU suppliers where European capacity is insufficient, alongside transition periods, compensation for additional costs and the “grandfathering” of existing contracts.The position paper is attached....
