UKIPO acknowledges ongoing problems with new digital patents service

The UKIPO acknowledged that the service, which was rolled out in April, is still falling short on functionality.The chief executive of the UK Intellectual Property Office has written to the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys to acknowledge the difficulties that practitioners have encountered with the new One IPO digital patent filing and management service. He said that further updates would come in the fall, and made assurances that legacy systems would still remain available....
