Kimberly-Clark-Kenvue deal cleared with conditions in New Zealand

In a statement on Monday, New Zealand’s Commerce Commission said that the clearance is subject to an undertaking to divest Kenvue’s feminine-hygiene business in New Zealand and Australia. Kimberly-Clark and Kenvue both supply feminine-hygiene products such as tampons, sanitary pads and panty liners in New Zealand. The regulator said that the sale of the Kenvue feminine-hygiene business to a suitable third-party purchaser will ensure that the “well-established” Carefree and Stayfree brands continue to compete under separate ownership.
