The Artist Company, or A-Corp, is a specialized LLC requiring artists to retain majority voting power while allowing investors economic rights. It also recognizes artistic work as capital and can return qualifying intellectual property to artists if the company dissolves.Artists who want to turn their creative work into a business have long faced a familiar trade-off.
