HP New Zealand receives regulatory approval for resale-price maintenance

In a statement on Thursday, New Zealand’s Commerce Commission said the application sought to allow HP to engage in resale-price maintenance in relation to its online stores and prospective online marketplace stores for a period of 10 years. The determination published on Thursday said the regulator’s decision is to grant authorization for a period of 10 years because it is satisfied that the proposed arrangements will result, or likely result, in public benefits.
