( August 14, 2026, 03:11 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: South Korea’s LG Group said Friday it signed a memorandum of understanding with Nvidia to collaborate in the fields of humanoid robotics, artificial intelligence factories and future mobility. The two sides plan to jointly develop a bipedal humanoid robot based on Nvidia’s Isaac GR00T platform and unveil it in the first quarter of next year, while building an AI factory based on Nvidia’s Vera Rubin platform by the first half of next year. In next-generation mobility, the two sides also agreed to develop an AI-Defined Vehicle platform based on Nvidia’s Drive Hyperion architecture. Overall, the collaboration will largely involve LG Group affiliates, such as LG Electronics, LG Innotek and LG Energy Solution, developing and manufacturing hardware based on Nvidia platforms.The statement is attached (in Korean)....
