OceanPact-CBO deal clearance appealed by Petrobras in Brazil
By Maria Júlia Baumert ( August 13, 2026, 18:30 GMT | Insight) -- Petrobras has appealed the Brazilian competition authority's approval of OceanPact's acquisition of CBO, arguing that the agency's investigatory unit didn't sufficiently examine several competitive concerns raised during the review and requesting that the Tribunal impose remedies if competition risks are ultimately confirmed.
