California, DirecTV notify appeals court of Nexstar-Tegna PI violation ruling

( August 13, 2026, 15:30 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The California Department of Justice and DirecTV submitted a to the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit a lower court order granting their motion to clarify the preliminary injunction that Nexstar Media Group and Tegna are appealing. The order said the companies are to remain separate and independently managed, and found that Nexstar's installation of its own senior executives on Tegna's board was "brazen" and violated the injunction, the California DOJ and DirecTV said.See attached file....
