China extends dumping duties on Indian single-mode optical fiber for 5 years

( August 13, 2026, 07:22 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China will continue imposing dumping duties of 7.4 percent to 30.6 percent on imports of single-mode optical fiber from India for another five years from Friday, the Ministry of Commerce said in a notice Thursday. The ministry said its expiry review found that ending the measures would likely result in the continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury to the Chinese industry. The duties were first imposed in August 2014 and extended for another five years in August 2020. Single-mode optical fiber is mainly used for high-speed, long-distance data transmission in telecommunications networks.Statement follows (in Chinese)....
