Aware Super-Keyton deal under review by Australian watchdog

( August 10, 2026, 09:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Aware Super's proposal to acquire Lendlease’s 25.1 percent interest in Keyton is under review by Australia's competition watchdog. Keyton owns, develops and operates more than 65 retirement villages across Australia, while Aware Super owns Oak Tree, which operates around 50 retirement villages. The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said in a statement Monday that the deal would increase Aware Super's interest in Keyton to 75 percent.
