Brazil's ANPD orders Discord to suspend live broadcasts amid probe into girl’s suicide

The move is part of an investigation launched by the regulator following the alleged death by suicide of a 13-year-old during a transmission watched by other minors. According to the ANPD, Discord has failed to comply with several provisions of Brazil's child online safety regulations, including preventing access to content that incites self-harm and suicide.
