San Francisco judge approves leadership team for ChatGPT product liability cases

Schulman has approved a jointly proposed leadership structure for plaintiffs in coordinated litigation against OpenAI and Microsoft alleging that ChatGPT guided people to commit suicide or harm themselves. Schulman appointed four co-lead counsel, one liaison counsel and a six-member steering committee, and said he would restructure the leadership team if they failed to work together cooperatively.
