American Airlines' $100m investment in Azul wins unconditional approval in Brazil

It added that American's investment enhances Azul's ability to compete in the domestic passenger airline market.Brazil's competition authority, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, has fully approved American Airlines' $100 million investment in Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras, one of the country's leading carriers.
