Construction begins on South Korea's national AI computing center

The facility will serve as the core infrastructure for a nationwide AI highway that the country aims to establish by connecting existing and new AI infrastructure facilities across the nation. Korea AI Computing Center Co, established in June as a public-private joint venture led by a Samsung SDS-led consortium, will build the facility by 2028.
