Indonesia warns YouTube over livestream using children to promote vaping

The ministry said the warning, issued under Ministerial Regulation No. 5/2020 governing private electronic system operators, requires YouTube to review and take action against the content, strengthen proactive content moderation and respond within three days. The ministry also instructed YouTube to improve its age-verification, content-detection and moderation systems to prevent similar material from appearing on the platform.
