Proposed acquisition of Tahmoor coal mine reviewed by Australian watchdog

In a statement on Friday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that Tahmoor is a coal mine in the Illawarra region in the state of New South Wales. The regulator added that the relevant assets include the mining rights, plant and equipment, real estate and a 16.67 percent equity interest in Port Kembla Coal Terminal. The regulator added that Golden Energy and Resources and M Resources are part of an existing consortium, GM3, which operates the Appin and Dendrobium coal mines in the Illawarra region.
