Japan's NYK Line to invest in UK LNG company MidOcean Energy
( July 31, 2026, 02:48 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Major Japanese shipping operator NYK Line said Thursday that it has agreed to participate in an investment in UK-based liquefied natural gas company MidOcean Energy by taking newly issued shares in Diamond Gas MidOcean, a Mitsubishi Corp-established investment vehicle for MidOcean Energy. The publicly listed shipping company said the transaction will make Diamond Gas MidOcean its subsidiary, with completion expected between August and September, subject to competition law and other regulatory approvals.Statement is attached (in Japanese)....
