The draft aims to help AI agent service providers improve security by recommending safeguards for interactions between AI agents and between AI agents and external tools. It covers identity authentication, access control, secure communications, risk management, agent registration and discovery, and tool invocation. The proposed measures seek to address risks including identity spoofing, unauthorized access and cascading hallucinations in multi-agent systems. Comments are due by Aug. 12.Statement follows.
