In a statement late on Wednesday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that Salesforce’s core offerings are customer relationship management solutions designed for company sales, service, marketing and commerce functions. Intercom, recently rebranded as Fin, is a global provider of customer service software, with core products including Intercom Helpdesk, a customer service management solution used by human customer support agents, and Fin, an agentic AI product for customer service that typically works on top of Intercom’s Helpdesk or another provider’s helpdesk solution.
