Kimberly-Clark-Kenvue deal under review in Australia with divestiture offer

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission on Tuesday said the companies overlap in the supply of feminine hygiene products, with Kimberly-Clark selling U by Kotex and Kenvue selling Carefree and Stayfree. To address those concerns, Kimberly-Clark has offered a court-enforceable undertaking to divest Kenvue's feminine hygiene business in Australia and New Zealand, including the Carefree and Stayfree brands, to an independent buyer approved by the watchdog.
