The trial is set to begin in August. In its trial brief, the DOJ wrote that it anticipates calling "Pleading Co-Conspirators" as witnesses and will supplement that testimony with text messages, emails, toll records, recordings, and summary charts, as well as additional witness testimony. The government argued that the testimony from the pleading co-conspirators, corroborated by documentary evidence, will prove that the defendants coordinated with their main competitors to raise the price of solid slab sodding for public infrastructure projects, divvy up erosion control work on projects and submit intentionally losing bids.See attached document. ...
