The case stems from a complaint against a German legal website, which connects lawyers with possible customers and collects visitors’ data, but only offered details about that joint role when asked for it.Germany's Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf is asking the EU’s top court whether an arrangement between joint data controllers must be provided immediately, or only when requested, in a case that could reshape transparency directives under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (see here)....
