( July 27, 2026, 06:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Statement: Indonesia's Coordinating Economic Affairs Minister Airlangga Hartarto urged Chinese businesses to expand investment in high-value industries during a meeting with a Chinese business delegation in Jakarta. In a statement Friday, the ministry said Indonesia is seeking additional investment in manufacturing, semiconductors, data centers, the digital economy, renewable energy and other advanced technologies as part of its strategy to strengthen domestic industrial value chains. Airlangga said the government will continue offering fiscal incentives, including tax holidays and investment allowances, to attract foreign investment. He added that Indonesia and China continue to deepen economic ties under the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, while exploring broader cooperation in trade, technology and education.The statement follows, (in Indonesian)....
