Communications and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid said all registration channels, including retail stores, digital platforms and third-party distributors, must comply with the same biometric verification standards. The ministry said mobile operators have committed to strengthening oversight of retail outlets and distribution partners to ensure the biometric registration requirements are implemented consistently nationwide.
