In a statement on Thursday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that Insurance Building Australia Operations, the operating entity for Ambrose, is listed as the acquirer in the proposed deal. The regulator added that Ambrose and Major Loss Builders overlap in the supply of insurance repair and restoration services for insurance claims, including business-as-usual repairs, emergency 'make-safe' services and associated services.
