Boats Group moves to dismiss boat brokerage's US monopolization claims

The Southern District of Florida dismissed Export Yacht Sales' original complaint because it found the plaintiff had failed to plead Boats Group engaged in exclusionary acts, and the amended complaint "does not cure that dispositive deficiency," Boats Group said. "No matter how many bald accusations or antitrust buzzwords Brill throws at the wall in its Amended Complaint, the reality remains that it has not and cannot sufficiently allege that anything Boats Group supposedly did over the past 20-plus years harmed competition and prevented Brill or any other broker from using any of the numerous other boat listing market places that have launched since 2004," Boats Group said.See attached file....
