To pre-empt antitrust scrutiny, the target will offload 14 businesses that overlap with Uber Eats, including in Spain, Sweden and Poland, to a US private equity company. Uber will keep businesses in 50 different markets, including Hungary, Argentina and South Korea. Closing is expected in the second half of 2027.
