Plaintiff in Apple US antitrust case allowed to withdraw as class representative

( July 14, 2026, 18:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Named plaintiff Julianna Felix Gamboa may voluntarily dismiss her US antitrust claims against Apple, which relate to Apple devices and iCloud, and withdraw as a putative class representative on the condition she responds to Apple’s requests for admission, interrogatories and requests for production, a California federal judge said. Earlier this year, plaintiffs' firm Hagens Berman informed Apple that Gamboa had deleted her emails, and that she intended to "voluntarily withdraw as a class representative in light of this issue." In mid-March 2026, Hagens Berman added that Gamboa wished to withdraw from the action in light of health issues.See court document. ...
