Energy Bay's bid for certain assets of Centuria Capital reviewed in Australia

( July 10, 2026, 07:22 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The proposal by Energy Bay Kappa Fund, as trustee for the Energy Bay Kappa Fund, to acquire assets from various subsidiaries of the Centuria Capital Group is being reviewed in Australia. In a statement published late on Friday, Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that Energy Bay Kappa Fund proposes to acquire from subsidiaries of Centuria Capital Group the rights to own, install and operate embedded energy networks across 239 existing and future sites, along with first and last rights of refusal over similar assets at additional sites. The regulator said Energy Bay Group is a distributed energy infrastructure company that operates embedded energy networks across several Australian states. It said the Centuria Capital Group subsidiaries invest in and manage properties, operating embedded networks and supplying electricity to tenants at their own sites.Statement follows.
