All Italian complaints over EU digital rules involved foreign platforms, report says
( July 10, 2026, 11:30 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: All complaints by Italian users in 2025 of online platforms violating the EU’s digital rulebook involved foreign-based platforms, the country’s privacy regulator has said in its annual report. These complaints were therefore forwarded to the relevant authorities, Agcom said. The watchdog saw a dramatic increase in complaints, with approximately 160, following only eight in 2024. Agcom said it would now prioritize strengthening cooperation with national authorities and enhancing minor protection and age-verification measures.Report attached (in Italian)....
