( July 8, 2026, 01:56 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: VSA Roads’ proposal to acquire the assets of SprayLine Road Services, a business operated by Head, Transport for Victoria, known as Head TfV, will be reviewed by Australia’s competition regulator. In a statement late on Tuesday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that Head TfV is a statutory authority that operates and maintains the road system in the state of Victoria. The regulator said that while VSA supplies quarried and bituminous products along with specialist contract paving and bituminous surfacing services across South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and the Northern Territory, SprayLine supplies bituminous spray sealing, line marking and road maintenance services across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.
