Live Nation urges US court not to 'rubberstamp' jury verdict in states' win

( July 2, 2026, 16:03 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Live Nation asked a New York federal judge to grant judgment against a coalition of US states who prevailed during a jury trial over competition in the live events industry. The plaintiffs "can say there is sufficient evidence only by arguing there is precious little they had to prove, and nothing more for this Court to do but rubberstamp the jury verdict," Live Nation said in a memo supporting its motion for judgment as a matter of law. The court should grant a new trial in the alternative, the company said in a separate brief.See attached documents....
